Design Consultations
The on site design consultation is an exchange of visions and ideas for the project and takes about an hour. Design options, products and materials will be discussed along with your goals for the project. During this consultation a fee agreement will be discussed, outlining the fees to develop a concept plan. There is no obligation to proceed at this stage.
Concept Planning
The concept plan is the first overall plan of your garden. It is developed using Auto CAD (landscape design software), providing you with a visual image of the new garden. At this stage of the process, feedback is encouraged from all parties involved, to maintain the design brief. Materials, products and plant species are chosen to then be added to the final design plan. Plans may include elevation drawings, construction details, plant schedules, maintenance plans, irrigation layout and lighting plans.
Council Applications
Elegant Outdoor Design maintains a healthy relationship with the local councils of Sydney; this allows fast approvals and trouble free applications. Elegant Outdoor Design are able to submit all applications associated with you project from complete Development Applications (DA's)to Modifications (section96) and are happy to submit any modification drawings required throughout the process.
Construction
The perfect design is no good if it cannot be constructed and this is why Elegant Outdoor Design ideas are created with the strong understanding, knowledge and experience of the construction process. Your project can also be constructed by our very friendly and skilled team of tradesmen that offer great attention to detail and pin point accuracy to plan drawings. Site management can also be arranged for the duration of the project and will be overseen by the designer from start to finish ensuring smooth operations and the best possible quality and outcome of the project.
Maintenance
Once the design is constructed it could require specific maintenance to achieve the desired design. A maintenance program may be required and would be specifically designed in order to gain the most from your new investment. The program may include plant health, soil conditioning, mulching, tree care, hedge development, irrigation, lawn care and the shaping of canopies. Elegant outdoor design is also available to carry out your maintenance program on a regular cycle giving you a perfect garden all year round.
